Southern Indian Health Council was founded to provide compassionate care to the Native American communities of southern San Diego. What began in 1982 as a small outreach operation has grown into a trusted, accredited health center serving a seven-tribe consortium: Barona, Campo, Ewiiaapaayp, Jamul, La Posta, Manzanita, and Viejas.
Set on 10 acres of serene countryside in Alpine, our modern, accessible facility is more than just a healthcare center—it’s a place where tradition meets innovation. Guided by the foundation of traditional Native medicine and holistic wellness practices, SIHC embraces every individual who walks through our doors with care that honors the mind, body, and spirit.
