Our program offers a flexible, multi-level outpatient treatment for clients, ages 13+. Outpatient treatment gives the individual an opportunity to interact in a real-world environment, while benefiting from a peer-oriented, structured therapeutic program. Kassandra Mason, LMFT, Director of Behavioral Health

Kassandra Mason was born and raised here in San Diego, CA. She is a Yaqui descendant through her father’s side. She is an Army Combat Veteran who participated in Operation Enduring Freedom. She received her Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology from National University. Her specialties include trauma, depression, anxiety, and psychotic disorders. She is currently getting her certifications in both Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Expressive Arts Therapy. Kassandra’s philosophy is to meet her clients where they are currently at and work with them at their current level. She uses humor and genuineness to provide a safe and comfortable space for everyone. Outside of work, Kassandra enjoys music, podcasts, and is a self-identified nerd.

Rebecca Prine, LCSW, Mental Health Therapist

Rebecca Prine, born and raised in Los Angeles, has been a social worker for nearly 20 years. She spent the majority of her career working in Skid Row Los Angeles with people who were experiencing homelessness and self-medicating to manage their mental health symptoms. She specializes in Depression, Anxiety, Co-Dependency, Communication, Self-Esteem, Psychotic Disorders, and Substance Abuse. She believes all people have worth and value. Rebecca’s approach is not to push people into changing things. Rather, she takes time to explore what areas of life may not be working well and guides people in developing goals that may improve their life. She embraces harm reduction philosophies and moves at the pace of the people she works with. When she is not working, she can be found wandering through a ghost town, metal detecting, fishing, camping, and always with her side kick hound dog, Macaroni.

Julie Woochuk, ICADC, CADC-II, Chemical Dependency Counselor

Julie Woochuk was born and raised in Michigan, and moved to the San Diego, California area in July 2012.
